There are a number of options available. For example, a Postnatal Nanny may be able to support you during the first 48 hours on return from hospital. Alternatively, a Postnatal Nanny can come at any point within the first three months after birth. During this time the Nanny will provide baby care support and guidance to help give you the confidence you need during those challenging first few days and sleepless nights. The Nanny will show you the following:

• Latching on the baby on the breast properly if you are breastfeeding and help establish breast milk supply.


• Burping and winding the baby.


• Nappy changing.


• Bottle feeding and care of bottles and sterilizing.


• Set feeding patterns.

Postnatal Nannies are self-employed and are responsible for their own Tax and National Insurance Contributions. All our Postnatal Nannies are fully trained and have newborn baby experience.
